AutoPlay: Car Screen Video for iPhone and CarPlay

Questions or problems? Write to [email protected]. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version and, for CarPlay issues, your car's make and model. We usually answer within two working days.

How do I add my playlist?

Tap + in the Library, paste your M3U link or sign in with your Xtream Codes details, or scan a playlist QR code. You can also import videos from the Files app. AutoPlay is a player: it does not provide channels, films or subscriptions.

Why don't I see video on the car screen?

Video shows on the car display only while the car is parked, and only in cars that support video in CarPlay. In other cars AutoPlay plays the sound through the car and the picture stays on your iPhone. As soon as the car moves, the picture hides and the sound keeps playing. Never watch while driving.

The picture stays hidden even though I'm parked

AutoPlay needs your location to confirm the car is parked. Check Settings > AutoPlay > Location, and give it a few seconds outdoors to get a GPS fix. If the speed can't be confirmed, the picture stays hidden for safety.

Some titles don't play

AutoPlay plays HLS (.m3u8), MP4 and MOV. For MKV, AVI and TS streams it tries the HLS version your server offers; if there is none, the title can't play yet.

Where is AutoPlay in CarPlay?

Connect your iPhone to the car, then find AutoPlay on the CarPlay home screen. If it's missing, open Settings > General > CarPlay, choose your car and make sure AutoPlay is shown.

Restore or cancel Premium

To restore a purchase, open AutoPlay > Settings > Restore purchases. Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your iPhone to change or cancel. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
